Yankee Walkers Hosts NEHT Trail Ride

Come join us for a fun trail ride and membership drive in the beautiful trail system of LeGrand Reynolds Horsemen’s Area in Exeter, RI. Choose your trail lengths of 8 miles, 10 miles, or 15 miles with refreshments and lunch to follow the ride. This trail ride is open to all horses and riders. Come ride, meet new friends, and join our club. Members pay $15 and Non-Members pay $25, so join before your ride! Registration begins at 8:30 am and ride out is from 9:00 to 10:00 am. Dry Camping is available. Please bring proof of negative Coggins. Please register by April 29 for the lunch and ride. SMART Trail Ride, Newfield, ME

Come joint the Yankee Walkers and the SMART riders as we rider through beautiful pine forests, by sparkling lakes and ponds, and through charming streams. The morning begins with light refreshments, registration at 9:00 am and ride out by 9:45 am. Riders can take the short loop of 9 miles or the long loop of 15 miles. This beautiful day enjoying nature ends with a homemade lunch. Ride and meal for SMART Members is $20 and for non-SMART members $25.

SMART Trail Ride, Gorham, ME

Join the Yankee Walkers and Smart Riders on the trails around the beautiful Sebago Lake Land Reservation and surrounding trails, thanks to the generosity of local land owners. Choose between the short loop of 7 miles or the long loop of 15 miles both with great footing, and end a perfect day with a delicious lunch with your horse friends. Ride and meal for SMART Members is $20 and for non-SMART members $25.

SMART Camping Ride, Gilmanton, NH

Join the Smart Riders for their 27th Annual Overnight Camping Ride. The trails are beautiful and the farm is New England Postcard perfect, so come enjoy the weekend. Space for Horse and Rider teams is limited to 50 slots, so register and pre-pay early to ensure a spot for this event.

SMART Trail Ride: Maudsley State Park

Come join the Yankee Walkers and the Southern Maine Association for Riding Trails (SMART) for their annual ride at beautiful Maudsley State Park. Registration begins at 9:00 am. Trails include 8 – 16 mile loops along the Merrimack River and through fields and woods, and the day ends with a delicious homemade lunch. Ride and Meal for SMART Members is $20 and for non-SMART members $25.
