Equine Health & First Aid: Part II

$159Join Gaited Horses of New England for a training about how to respond to medical emergencies with your horse both at home and on the trails. This educational clinic is taught by our own certified EquiFirst Aid instructor, Bettyann Cernese.
Part I is offered on Zoom either January 9 or 12, 2023 from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm to learn the theory.
Part II is offered in person on January 14, 2023 from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm at Morning Glory Farm, Brentwood, NH home of our Treasurer, Cindy Tolbert. Part II of this course will wrap up the theory and teach the application of these skills to actual horses. You will learn how to provide emergency treatment until your vet arrives, how to take proper vital signs, and how to address lacerations, punctures, colic, choke, collapse, casting, shock, hoof issues, pain in the horse, and much, much more!
The $159 fee includes the 7 hours of training both on Zoom and in person, the extensive equine health and emergency first aid manual, lunch, and a certificate of completion of the course.
